Prefilter
A capacious 1.5-litre prefilter built into the lid of the unit effectively traps large debris, significantly reducing the frequency of filter maintenance. Cleaning the prefilter itself is very simple and does not even require the unit to be removed from the cabinet. All you have to do is lift the lid, remove the sponge from the basket, and rinse it under running water.
Double ball valve system
Aquarists know that a critical stage of work requiring access to the inside of the filter is usually the disconnection of the inlet and outlet hoses from the unit. The remaining water in the filter usually spills out onto the floor, which causes justifiable irritation. To avoid this, a patented double-ball valve system was used. They simultaneously close the filter inlet and outlet in the lid and the hoses and block uncontrolled escape of water. Self-priming system
